These are the major changes and fixes between versions:

Bugs fixed
-	run_in_xterm, pause_after_exec buttons got confused state
	when multiple panes active.
-	getcd used instead of (POSIX) getcwd.
-	BadValue error occurs on refresh dir on some machines, due to
	creating too big a BusyCursor window.
-	error dialog for illegal directory crashes when multiple
	panes have been active.
-	connection to X server not closed by a child on a fork.
-	used InstallCommand for shell script, giving a "can't strip"
	warning.
-	doco didn't say that shell variables can be used in actions
	and commands. 

Enhancements
-	looks up users shell in the environment.
-	recognises pattern $0 for selected file in a run command.
-	directory for pixmaps can be compiled in by option PIXMAPDIR.
-	added more fields to file information dialog.
-	added "confirm" field to possible actions on a file.
-	if a file exists as target of new, move or copy file, a warning
	dialog confirms squashing old file
-	#to-end-of-line allowed as comment in xmfmrc
-	source cleaned up to be more POSIX-like, so that on a Sun OS4.1
	it compiles clean with -D_POSIX_SOURCE. Despite this, it still
	has some non-POSIX calls like lstat().
-	source reorganised to reflect object structure better.

Bugs Fixed:
-	reading xmfmrc crashed on some machines.
-	cancelling a filter dialog crashed.
-	refreshing directory contents on some machines crashed.
-	varargs interface for ANSI illegal.
-	incorrect attribution of copyright for bitmaps.
-	spelling/syntax errors in help messages.
-	"vi" doesn't run in its own xterm.
-	"pauseme" program omitted from distribution, so e.g. "more" doesn't
	seem to work.

Enhancements:
-	command line argument added to allow specification of xmfmrc file.
-	icon added.
-	more robust handling of errors in xmfmrc.
